Tidetech provides a comprehensive range of specialist met-ocean data from multiple sources, including our proprietry tidal data, produced in-house using hydrodynamic tidal models. Non Tidetech data is procured by us the best quality, reliable, raw data from authoritative sources, which we then convert to useable formats to make it easy for our customers to access and use.
Formats
- All data is supplied as standard in GRIB format. We can supply in other custom formats as required.
Data access
- A range of products is are available to view online via TideView.
- Grib files can be downloaded from this website with appropriate account permissions. Sample gribs can be downloaded by registering as a user.
- Grib files can also be downloaded into a growing number of navigation applications and third party systems using our API (application programming interface). Information for Developers
Availability
- Products marked as available in the table below are produced routinely and available immediately. Other products can be made available routinely by arrangement (*BA) for commercial customers only.
