100m model in real time with 30 minute time steps
This is a ground breaking hydrodynamic tidal model recently used with great success by Team Origin at the 1851 Cup. With 548,618 individually calculated points it describes the tidal flow in the Solent and round the Isle of Wight in incredible detail.
We will be making it available on subscription in mid September (we've still got some automation work to do). Until then we have some data available this week for the RORC Commodore's Cup and the RORC Sevenstars Round Britain Ireland Race which we are making available as a packages of several days worth of data.
Download sample Grib - note this is compressed with bz2 which you can uncompress with winzip . It's a big file after de-compression though so some nav software may struggle to digest it. It works fastest in Expedition.
