Tidetech relocates to HobartBack to news page

Tidetech has moved its head office and primary base of operations to Hobart, Australia.
Now based in the Reserve Bank Building in Macquarie St, we’re close to Constitution Dock, home of the finish of the Rolex Sydney to Hobart Race.
Tidetech Managing Director Penny Haire said it was a great move to put Tidetech right at the heart of where the science happens.
“Hobart is one of the foremost oceanographic centres in the world and a nucleus of excellence in maritime, marine and oceanographic research regionally,” she said.
“It’s the home of the CSIRO’s Marine and Atmospheric Research Division, the University of Tasmania – which hosts the Institute for Marine and Antarctic Studies – and Australia’s Integrated Marine Observing System. There is also a cluster of related science and technology businesses working in aquaculture, modelling, maths and software and many internationally recognised scientists work here including our own Dr Roger Proctor.”
